introducing… ceramic & recycled silver necklaces by elisa shere

ceramic & recycled silver pendants by elisa shere

ceramic & recycled silver necklaces by elisa shere

elisa shere has just introduced a fabulous new line of ceramic pieces into her line of recycled silver jewelry. when i say this is a perfect marriage, i mean it quite literally. you might recall that elisa’s now husband sold his kiln to buy her engagement ring… but i digress, elisa has a passion for ceramics, just like her husband (she has a passion for him, too!), and these pendants reflect that passion.

she’s incorporated a flower motif , which she says “truly symbolize renewal and spring” into this new collection. she drew these flowers from memory, inspired by dahlias.

i adore how the oxidized recycled silver bezel & chain make the ceramic pieces really pop! the colors are rich and refined which is a lovely juxtaposition against the dark organic backdrop. i had the opportunity to see these up close & personal at art star – love.at.first.sight. i couldn’t keep from touching & turning them in my hand.

hop on over to elisa’s shop to see the full collection, along with elisa’s signature pieces.

just another manic monday!

bleeding heart flower

i’ve been waiting for this monday since last monday. true story. i love mondays – little new beginnings that come around every 7 days.

anyways, i’ll be back in just a bit with part 3 of my short series on how the internet is shaping our creative process! but first i wanted to share some pretty pictures from my weekend.

oh – and june advertising is sold out. bummer. good news, there’s 2 packages now to get you through those pesky summer months!
