fresh & simple :: felt flower wall art
i’ve had an itching to do something fun & pretty with embroidery hoops. there are so many projects just waiting to be translated to that little wood hoop. but alas, time is not on my side.
so, perhaps i’ll pick up one of these lovely felt flower art pieces by dashing etc. i can see these in so many styles of decor – how about yours?

alice in wonderland: some lovely things
with alice in wonderland being released tomorrow (finally!) i thought it would be nice to showcase some lovely items i found browsing etsy and the comments of last week’s popular post.
i love this vintage looking white rabbit pillow cover from shop nuka.
i thought the black and white alice in wonderland belt buckle found in beth’s shop bmused was such a classic.
i couldn’t decide on which print to showcase because i adore them all. luckily illustrator stephaniefizer offers a complete set of alice in wonderland note cards for us indecisive folks.
like tara said before, comments are a powerful thing. hope shared some alice love in my last post and i completely fell for the whimsical hairpiece in her shop thefrenchmouse.

spring banner from junecraft
friend of the blog, kayanna from junecraft, posted this springy little number to the scoutie girl flickr group and i just new it would have to start off the day today.
kayanna had her original illustrations professionally printed onto linen cotton canvas with eco-friendly inks and then sewed up each adorable little square herself. the banner is 4 feet long. a little retro, a little scandinavian, a little funky. so fun!

note to self: work on ridiculously cute arrangements like the top photo in my own house.
