for the first time in quite a while, my part of pennsylvania may actually have a white christmas! we got about 6 inches of snow on saturday – philly got 2 feet in parts! for me, it really is magical to have snow on the ground at the holidays. everything glistens and the twinkling lights dangling from houses look so pretty & inviting, even if they’re crooked and flashing at odd intervals!
the scarf above, by clariceonline, reminds me of fluffy little snow balls! i can imagine it’s comfy & cozy – but not in that strangling way that normally has me avoiding winter outwear no matter the temperature.
and these glass doily plates? you could use them all year round, sure, but i think they would be a great touch to a holiday spread! they’re made from recycled glass & hand-painted with glass enamels. fox and clover also use this technique to make beautiful glass platters & necklaces.
and this beautiful white dress!! trimmed out with white lace, you’d really stand out at winter parties in a sea of little black dresses. made by magnolijadress.
