this isn't a typical feature for the handmade solutions post, but once i saw this work, i just knew i had to share it with you. i'm big into hand-cut paper art, but this just blows my mind!
this series of work called "ledger", created by jill sylvia, is all hand-cut from ledger paper. her series includes buildings as well as simple page art. the fact that this is all cut by hand seems near impossible. how does one get such amazingly straight lines and not end up ripping such fine, delicate lines? you can see more of her work here. while most of it appears to be for sale, i can't seem to find prices anywhere.
