Friday. Yoga. Back on the mat. Learning the ceiling with a gentle gaze.
Breathing in, breathing out, breathing in, breathing out. An automatic cycle.
Instructor: “Just like each day is a chance for a fresh start, each breath can be a fresh start. You can start anew with each breath.”
I breathe that one in. I breathe that one out.
I can start anew with a single breath.
I don’t need a Monday or a New Year. A single breath will do.
Searching the ceiling. Mind goes where it always goes: What does this mean for my business?
It means I can refresh with the smallest action. I don’t have to wait for a product launch, or a new website, or a new logo. I can start fresh with each blog post, each email, each Tweet, each client session.
Any oridinary action I want can be a whole new day. I decide the sunrise.
I once heard Aaron Sorkin speak. He takes showers multiple times a day because he likes starting fresh. He’s breathing himself anew.
Are you waiting for the sun to tell you that a new day is here? Or will you start one for yourself? With a walk, a tea, a song, a blog post, or simply a breath?
How will you start anew? Breathe life into the comments.
