I know Valentine’s Day is over, but I really love heart-themed projects all year round. So here’s an easy bracelet you can make and easily customize for you or your friends.
What you need:
- heart beads
- gel pen
- clear nail polish
- colorful twine
- needle and thread
First, choose what word or phrase you’d like to have on your bracelet. I made a few different ones that said things like “nope” and “can u not” just because I like juxtaposition. But you can make them with names or dates or whatever you want. Use a gel pen to write one letter on each heart. Then cover with clear nail polish to hold it in place. If you want to make it easier on yourself, just skip this step and buy beads with letters already on them.
Cut your twine into three pieces that fit around your wrist twice. Braid them and tie them so that they fit your wrist. Then take a needle and thread and stitch each bead individually onto the braided twine. But if your beads are large enough, you can just string them right through your twine. That’s it! What would your bracelet say?
