Marietta Theodorou-LeMieux, the artist behind Blue Room Pottery, is a prolific potter whose work can be found in approximately 430 galleries and museums in the United States alone – and more abroad. Her work includes servingware, yarn and earring bowls, and decorative items such as her very popular bee ornaments.

Marietta is the daughter of reknowned Greek potter Nikolaos Theodorou, and is an exhibiting member of the American Craft Council as well as a member of the PanHellenic Potters Association PEKA, Athens, Greece. She and her husband, along with their two sons, also run Gallery OKTO in St. Paul, Minnesota.
