Well, I guess my zen isn’t going to get to the top of the mountain until I start the climb. Today I will pick a spot on the mountain for me to reach, then I’ll take each step need to reach it.

What’s funny is that each step I put behind me makes my Zen grow, but it also makes the load feel lighter.

I recently left my job to start a creative arts biz. I am taking some time…a long weekend to play and wind down. On my agenda today is a visit to a chapel designed by the artist Mark Rothco whose abstract artwork is beautifullly Zen. I figure it will provide a great inspiration for me as I get focused on what direction I am headed. Thanks for the invitation to share! I am enjoying your site.

    Fabulous post, Brittni!

One of the best words of wisdom in business I’ve ever been given is that you will ALWAYS be busy. Hopefully the busyness is client work or customer demand (!), but if not there’s always improving this or that, or events in our personal lives. So if there’s some core thing you need to be doing to be happy, healthy, or profitable you better make a plan for it.

Of course I forget this on practically a daily basis. :)
