This is a great article Candy! I love following you on Twitter, you are always doing such interesting things with such great energy that I am fascinated even though I am not even a quilter. I have also been at this for over 20 years and I find that long involvement does inform all the decisions I make for my art/business. I am so excited to catch your shows on TV and I wish you great success as you keep making :)

Thank you all! When I think about that day, I sometimes can’t quite believe that it happened…I suppose once I actually watch, it’ll be really real!! ;-)

I love reading the more indepth side of the bit of the story that usually goes ‘and the rest is history’. Thank you so much for sharing it with us.

Congratulations Candy! It almost reads like my story, step by step, enjoying what you love to do, making an income at it, becoming an expert to share the wealth of knowledge you have. The TV segments will put you on the map. It’s wonderful that handmade and homegrown is happening right here in America. Three cheers for you!

Congrats Candy! How amazing, I bet you wanna just pinch yourself! I am so happy to have “met” you on twitter and through your blog this year. Your work is cheerful and energetic, just as you are. It is nice to read your back story and how you have come to be where you are today with your business. It’s easy to get frustrated and feel like things aren’t happening quick enough but, to have the time to explore your craft, new skills and find your voice is timeless, I’m so happy for your successes and may your dreams grow bigger with each year! Hope I can find you on my local station ;)
