Here are her notes on a handmade holiday:

These winter holidays are quite important for me, because I like cooking and big family dinners around the table, though our family is rather small: these family dinners are even more important for me since my mother has gone. Actually we have two holiday dinners: one during Chanukkah, and one on Christmas Eve (24th Dec in Europe). I also have a Chrismukkah Dinner Party with my friends, so as a result we party all along December!

I have long history of giving handmade gifts for my friends: last year I gave them prints from my photos, and 2 years ago they got a tote bag from me. For this year i found this cute tutorial – so I might make a few of these.
