Many of us, myself included, have an infinity for everything old…vintage typewriters, globes, and even books. And within the last couple of years, there has been a real upward swing in the way of using recycled materials to create. So, when I started finding artwork done on old book pages and covers from some of my favorite artists, I was super excited. The old, stained pages are a beautiful contrast to the colorful artwork atop these old treasures. I love this thought of giving new life, and in a sense a new message, to these old, discarded books.

I love Hollie’s work (the first piece)! I think the only way to describe the combination of materials is alchemy
What a lovely idea! It’s a very nice way to honor the stained pages and give them a new life.
By the way, congratulations on being mentioned in Chris Brogan’s current newsletter as a person who is, “doing it right.” No small thing
