Now, more then ever, am I aware of what a difference supporting local and indie artists has on lives everywhere. The warmth and meaning buying a piece of handcrafted work has compared to buying mass produced product will be passed down to our children and they in turn will influence how business is done in their generation. I am so honored to be part of this movement!

Its a resurrection of handmade ideals through a fresh perspective. It's especially a reaction to the glut of big-box store consumerism that spread rampantly in the 90s. Handmade is very relevant again. Its a back to basics, back to the community mentality just like the local food movement. Knowing where your $ is going and knowing where the goods you buy come from.
