fresh and simple for your monday morning

last week, i rec'd a sweet note from Angela Fehr about her blogger-art friend Anna McLean. it completely made my day that one artist would selflessly step forward to promote another, and doubly so given the fact that Anna's work is a perfect fit with Scoutie Girl. she paints in a range of styles from realism to mod minimalism b/c she prefers to paint however and whatever comes to mind rather pinning herself down to one style. guiding forces are mood, time and freedom of expression. i'm so drawn to these clean & bold silhouettes of botanicals, objects and shapes. excellent color pairings! sizes vary. not all of these are on her etsy site, but she'll happily upload from her blog if you'd like to purchase. other mentionables: customizing available.
