100 Paintings 100 Days

There is nothing more rich than the thick impasto of an oil painting; especially when its a painting from the 100 paintings 100 days collection of ¬†Arielle Sandler. This series is exactly what you would think it would be: one painting a day, for a 100 days. Each painting is 6×6 inches and exploding with texture and color. I love these types of projects.

Which one is your favorite?

  1. LOVE these! Her hand reminds me of Wayne Thibaud’s cake paintings: So thick and delicious, you almost feel as though you can reach out and eat it!

I really wish I could have all 3!

  2. I thought the same thing Daniella. I’ve always been a huge fan of Thibaud. In fact, when I was still teaching art classes, I would devote an entire project to his work each school year. My students really liked it.
